Struggling family loses their house and almost their Doberman, they put his needs first despite not having the means but eventually come out the other side happy and healthy together

It's truly inspiring to read a story about people in need, and chose to do every measure to take care of their Doberman. 

This family was struggling after losing their house, dealing with aging in-laws who also needed help, and were in the hardest moments of their lives. They were faced with a critical housing emergency, and having a dog on top of that is more than stressful. They ended up spending cold nights in their car, wasting money on motels, and spending a lot of money on gas to keep the AC in the car so that their Doberman would be comfortable in summer months while they were at work. No good need goes unpunished, and they were relentlessly chastised, lectured, and judged for choosing their dog over themselves. As if everything they did was some sort of moral failure on their part, and that bad things don't happen to decent people. 

Having that kind of judgement thrown at you in tough times makes everything all the worse. It's like adding insult to injury. But these people stayed strong, they kept their head up, and they decided their Doberman's health and happiness was everything to them. They eventually broke through and made it out strong and together. Their marriage survived, the guardianship of their niece is intact, and their Doberman Ivy is still with them. She's stable, and her health is doing much better. Sometimes we're tested, but this family proved they deserve everything they have that they've worked so hard for. Enjoy this sentimental and heartwarming story that only inspires hope.

  • Having a housing crisis is one of the worst things a person can go through. When you don't have a home, it feels like you have no center. You have no where to get back to, no where to call your own, no where to comfortably sleep and exhale into. Having to live out of a suitcase is destabilizing to say the least. You never feel settled, your soul feels like it's floating in the air with nothing grounding it. It can be impossible to enjoy the little things with these conditions.
