    of moral failure on our part, as if life doesn't just happen to decent people.

    We learned that apparently, only the rich are allowed to love and be loved by animals.

    With that said, we broke through and made it out alive and together. Our marriage survived,

    the guardianship of my niece is still intact, and Ivy is still with us. She is now stable on Proin and no

    longer struggles with post-spay incontinence. That was the single biggest improvement made that

    was brought to our attention from the post I made looking for someone to foster my girl. Thank you for that! Ivy thanks you
